Probing gluon helicity and proton TMDs: insights from JAM analysis and future prospects

In the first part of this talk, I will overview the recent progress from JAM on extraction of helicity gluon PDFs. By leveraging existing experimental data and lattice data, the sign of the gluon helicity distribution is examined. Furthermore, a new observable at JLab 22 GeV is introduced to enhance the discrimination of the gluon helicity sign. In the second part, I will discuss transverse momentum dependent (TMD) observables that hold potential for use in global QCD analysis.
